Hi Lloyd,
My name is J., and on March 15th 2003, I gave myself my last Peg-intron shot and took the last of my Rebetol.
At six months off the drugs, I was told that I was “cured.” I would like to know if there are any legal documents stating the long-term side effects of these drugs?
My year of treatment was the most painful and hideous time of my life. But today I ache all over; I have unexplainable sudden join pain (excruciating), and am very tired. I also gained 40lbs.
In 7 months. Doctors are telling me, due to years of bad posture I’m experiencing painful muscles and joint pain. I show several age related spurs in my neck and shoulder but nothing else significant in my MRI. Nothing really in the “electric shock” test to my hands, just slight carpal tunnel stuff.
I’ve had physical therapy, felt good for awhile, but didn’t resolve my ouch, numbness, sudden joint pain and extreme muscle fatigue. I keep losing strength, why?
I’m sorry to bother you but I need to start somewhere, will you please help?
